IE8 Beta 1!

Dean announced IE8 Beta 1 during the keynote at MIX08 this morning and it’s now on the IE blog. This is a developer-focused beta and I’m incredibly excited to hear what people have to say about the product.  We’ve been working hard for a while and it’s great to ship!

Developers: try out the beta and learn more at the IE Developer Center.

    I’m a brazilian designer, and today i downloaded IE8 to meet and begin my tests. Among my friends im the only one that defend the Internet Explorer and to know that we finally on an equal footing with the “firesux” is a relief.

    I’m like’ the new features and thought very intelligent include the emulator (ie7) as standard in this version, but I was disappointed at having to close the browser to take effect.

    My actual browser is the Maxthon2 to supply my needs, but thought really exciting new features. I hope more before the final version.
